More blissful creations from our Son of Sound 'Si Tew'

The extremely talented, and good friend of Atjazz Record Company, Si Tew is back! Only a few months after the storming release of his “Breathe” single, Si returns with a smooth and contemplative effort and I’m sure you’re as happy as we are that he has returned so soon.

We kick off with the spacious ‘Until A Breath Speaks’ featuring a typically moody vocal from accomplished poet Deanna Rodger. A light and airy hook glides over a deep and charged bass line and, as Deanna’s breathy vocal floats in and out of the track, it is punctuated by gyroscopic synth notes that runs up and down your spine.

The next step is ‘We Endeavour’, a subdued and pensive offering that takes us deeper into Si’s world of dark melodies and epic sound-scapes then we have been before. After soothing our ears for just long enough with some poignant strings and fluid synth, a soft rhythmic percussion starts up and takes the track to the next level.

Finally we end with “Hands Up” and the overall thoughtful vibe is continued in an emotional fashion. A crawling beat and a creeping bass are peppered with rippling notes and digital pops to put an epic counterpoint to the low and profound tone of the track.

One listen is definitely not enough for this EP.
